Why Unicwap
is different

The decisions behind the platform — from non-custodial architecture to federal compliance — reflect a specific point of view about how digital asset infrastructure should work.

Custody is a choice.
We chose not to.

Most financial platforms hold your assets on your behalf. They control access, manage keys, and act as intermediaries between you and your funds. This creates convenience — but it also creates dependency, counterparty risk, and a fundamental misalignment of interests.

Unicwap was designed around the opposite principle. Non-custodial means the platform has no ability to freeze, move, or access your assets. Private keys exist only on your device. The wallet software facilitates transactions — it does not control them.

This is not a new idea. It is the original vision of blockchain technology. Unicwap simply builds software that makes it practical for everyday users.

Four structural
differences

01

Federal Registration

AIX WALLET LLC is registered with FinCEN as a Money Services Business (MSB #31000287499520). This registration is publicly verifiable and reflects ongoing compliance obligations — not a one-time certification.

02

Structured AML/KYC

The platform implements identity verification and transaction monitoring consistent with US anti-money laundering requirements. This protects users and the broader ecosystem from illicit activity.

03

True Multi-Chain

Unicwap supports major blockchain networks from a single interface. Not a single-chain wallet with wrapped assets — genuine native support for each network's transaction model and token standards.

04

Software-Only Model

Unicwap is a software platform. It does not operate exchanges, hold reserves, or offer financial products. This scope limitation is deliberate — it keeps the platform focused and the compliance picture clear.

Regulation as
infrastructure

Compliance is not an obstacle to building good software. It is a design constraint that forces clarity about what the platform does and does not do.

The FinCEN MSB registration requires Unicwap to maintain a written AML program, conduct ongoing customer due diligence, file suspicious activity reports when warranted, and keep records consistent with federal requirements. These obligations shape every product decision.

For users, this means interacting with a platform that has a defined legal identity, published contact information, and regulatory accountability. That matters — particularly in a space where many operators remain anonymous.

What we believe
about digital assets

Self-sovereignty matters

Individuals should be able to hold and transfer value without requiring permission from a third party. Blockchain makes this technically possible. Good software makes it practical.

Transparency builds trust

Publishing registration details, contact information, and clear descriptions of what the platform does and does not do is the baseline for operating honestly in this space.

Compliance and decentralization coexist

Non-custodial wallets and regulatory compliance are not in conflict. A platform can respect user sovereignty while also operating within a legal framework. Unicwap demonstrates this.

Software should do one thing well

Unicwap is a wallet. Not an exchange, not an investment platform, not a lending protocol. Scope discipline makes the product better and the risk profile cleaner.
